Marble Cake
250g butter, softened
1 ¼ C caster sugar
1 t vanilla
4 eggs
2 ¼ C plain flour
2 ¼ t baking powder
1 C milk
pink food coluring
¼ C cocoa, sifted
2 T caster sugar, extra
1 T milk, extra

Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease 25cm ring cake tin. Place butter, sugar, vanilla in bowl and mix with electric mixer until light and creamy. Gradually add eggs and beat well. Sift flour and baking powder over bowl and fold through with milk. Divide mixture into 3 ? colour one portion with pink colouring. Stir cocoa and extra sugar and milk through another. Drop alternate spoonfuls of mixture into tin, swirl knife through to marble. Bake 50-55 mins, cool on wire rack.
