Potato and Pea Pastries

2 large potatoes
Oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
½ t ginger
1 garlic clove
½ chilli, sliced
Pinch turmeric
Pinch cumin
Pinch coriander
Salt and pepper
½ C thawed frozen peas
3 T chopped coriander
Lemon juice
6 sheets frozen puff pastry
Egg + little milk (?eggwash?)
Preheat oven to 220°C. Peel spuds, boil until tender, grate. Heat oil in wok and saut? onion, ginger, garlic. Add chilli, spices, seasoning for few seconds, add potato, peas, coriander, lemon juice. Mix well and allow to cool. Separate pastry sheets and cut into small rounds with pastry cutter, or triangles. Brush with eggwash, place potato mixture in centre, fold over and seal edges. Brush with eggwash and bake until golden.
