Red Onion and Cheese Tart

3 red onions, sliced

Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan and gently saute onions until tender. Drain and season. Make an egg wash by mixing together egg and milk. Then place pastry sheet on a baking tray and lay onion on top, leaving a border. Top with cheese and paint the edges with egg wash. Cook in oven for 12-14 mins until golden.
