Baked Honey and Soy Chicken
3 spring (green) onions, chopped
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
½ tspn sambel oelek
2 tspn freshly grated ginger
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 chicken, portioned

1 chicken, portioned
Mix together spring onion, soy, honey, sambel, ginger and garlic. Gently toss chicken in marinade and set aside in refrigerator for 30-60 mins, turning every 15 mins or so. Preheat oven to 220°C. Then place chicken in a baking dish, skin side up. Bake for 30 mins, basting once or twice. Serve on a bed of steamed rice, together with cooking juices spooned over the top
