Orange and Poppyseed Cake
2 C SR flour
1 ½ t baking powder
¾ C caster sugar
2 T poppy seeds
2/3 C oil
½ C milk
2 eggs
¼ C orange juice
grated rind 1 orange
60g cream cheese
2 C icing sugar
2-3 t orange juice

Heat oven 180°. Sift flour and baking powder together in large bowl. Stir in sugar and seeds. Blend in combined oil, milk, eggs, juice and rind. Beat 1 minute. Pour into greased and floured 23cm round cake tin. Bake 35-40 mins. Cool in tin for 5 mins then turn onto rack. When cool, spread icing (cream cheese, icing sugar, orange juice).
