Sausage Rolls

2 potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 t vegetable oil
1 onion, grated
2 cloves garlic
1 t cumin
1 t curry powder
300 g sausage mince
200 g beef mince
4 sheets puff pastry
1 egg, lightly beaten
Preheat oven 200°C. Cook potato until just tender, drain and mash. Heat oil, cook onion, garlic, spices until soft and liquid evaporated. Combine with potato and meat in large bowl, mix well. Cut pastry sheets in half. Shape filling down one long side of pastry sheets, brush around edges with egg, roll to enclose filling. Cut rolls in half, brush with egg, score tops with sharp knife. Place on baking tray, bake 25 mins until browned.
