Lentil ragu with spaghetti

2 T oil

1 onion, chopped

2 carrots, chopped

2 celery, chopped

2 garlic cloves

250g dried red lentils

400g can tomatoes

2 t tomato paste

2 t oregano

2 t thyme

1 bay leaf

salt and pepper

2 C vegetable stock

250g spaghetti

Heat oil and cook onion, carrot, celery, garlic 10 mins.  Stir in remaining ingredients except pasta, bring to boil then simmer 35 mins until lentils soft.  Serve with cooked pasta.
