Steak Diane

2 cloves garlic
Black pepper
25 g butter
4 shallots, finely chopped
2 t Dijon mustard
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1 T brandy
80 ml cream
2 T parsley, chopped
Spread garlic over steaks, and grind black pepper over. Cook steaks in a little butter then keep warm. Heat butter in same pan, add shallots 1 min. Add mustard, Worcestershire, brandy, stir well to mix in all bits from bottom of pan. Stir in cream and boil 3-4 mins, until sauce reduced and thickened slightly, stir in parsley and serve over steak.
